Officials of the Kherson region: Russian troops repelled the attempt of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to force the Dnieper
MOSCOW, January 31 – RIA Novosti. Acting governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Vasilenko told RIA Novosti that the Ukrainian troops tried to cross the Dnieper in the Kherson region to gain a foothold on the left bank, the attempt was repelled.

In the Zolotoy Balka region of Kherson region, Russian air defense systems shot down the Mi-8 helicopter of the Ukrainian Air Force, destroyed five unmanned aerial vehicles and intercepted three rockets belonging to the US-made HIMARS multi-launch rocket system.
