Polish farmers close points on the border with Ukraine, protesting grain imports

“There is a protest action of farmers at the border crossings, especially in Khrebennoye (a checkpoint on the Ukrainian border – ed.),” the newspaper writes.
It publishes photos showing farmers blocking the road with tractors from the checkpoint. “Polish products are healthy, technical grain is a symbol of the lies and perversion of those in power,” they chanted.
It has been reported that farmers will protest until midnight.
Earlier, a number of Polish organizations that brought together farmers, mainly Agrounia, protested that grain for export was imported into Poland from Ukraine, but settled in the republic, and the quality of this grain was inadequate. According to the official data of the Polish side, about 2 million tons of grain were imported from Ukraine to Poland last year.
