MOSCOW, February 2 – RIA Novosti. The Russian Defense Ministry said on Thursday that the “Vostok” grouping of Russian troops in the South Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions destroyed more than 65 Ukrainian soldiers and 6 equipment per day.

“In the southern Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions, as a result of artillery fire and active actions of the Vostok troop group, more than 65 Ukrainian soldiers of the 110th regional defense brigade near Poltavka, Zaporozhye region and the settlement of the 72nd mechanized brigade were destroyed near the settlement of Ugledar, Donetsk region. During the day, 4 armored combat vehicles and 2 vehicles belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces were destroyed.
