China’s Deputy Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu: Beijing ready to work with Moscow to improve relations
BEIJING, February 4 – RIA Novosti. In a statement after the visit of Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu to Russia, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Beijing is ready to work with Moscow to make new progress in bilateral relations in the new year.
Ma Zhaoxu paid a visit to Russia on February 2-3, where he met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Russian Deputy Foreign Ministers Sergei Vershinin and Andrei Rudenko.
“The political mutual trust between the two countries is constantly deepening, cooperation in various fields is gradually developing, and international cooperation is getting closer,” China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
“China is ready to work with Russia to faithfully implement the important consensus reached between the two heads of state in the new year and to support new progress in bilateral relations.”
