Since February 24, 2022, Russia has been conducting a special military operation in Ukraine, the ultimate goal of which, as stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, is the liberation of Donbass and the creation of conditions that guarantee Russia’s security.

After the start of the special operation, the Kyiv authorities have repeatedly announced their plans to launch an offensive operation in the Crimea, including against the backdrop of reports of the new supply of Western weapons.
