Restrictions on electricity supply will be reduced in Kiev, Kyiv and Dnepropetrovsk regions
MOSCOW, February 5 – RIA Novosti. Electricity supply in the Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions will be provided without restrictions on Sunday morning, the Ukrainian energy holding reported. DTEK.
“There will be no power cuts in the first half of the day in the Kiev, Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions. By order of Ukrenergo, the consumption limits will be applied only between 16:00 (17:00 Moscow time) and 20:00 (21.00 Moscow time).” the company said on a telegram channel.
The company added that emergency cuts continue in the Odessa region.
On Saturday, DTEK reported that as a result of an accident at the substation, Odessa and part of the Odessa region were completely de-energized.
On Thursday, the national energy company Ukrenergo reported that the deficit in Ukraine’s energy system has narrowed, with the capacity produced meeting 80% of the need. Restriction of electricity consumption is carried out by the energy company by imposing consumption limits on all operators of distribution systems, when exceeded, an emergency power cut is applied.
