Expert Leonkov: Poland buys HIMARS from the USA to replace Graduates transferred to Ukraine
MOSCOW, February 8 – RIA Novosti. Military expert Alexei Leonkov told RIA Novosti that Poland’s purchase of HIMARS systems from the US should pay back for Grad installations transferred to Ukraine.
Earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs approved the sale of 18 HIMARS systems and ammunition to Poland for $ 10 billion.
“I think this is due to the US reimbursement of Grad-type plants that Poland provided to Ukraine. Poland supplied them and of course they promised something in return, and now the Americans are sending them Haimar, ” said Leonkov…
The expert does not rule out that some of the HIMARS plants that the USA plans to sell to Poland may later be transferred to Ukraine. According to him, this could be a “cunning multiple move” by the Americans.
In April last year, Poland transferred military equipment and equipment to Kiev for a total amount of more than $ 1.6 billion.
