MOSCOW, February 8 – RIA Novosti. Vladimir Dzhabarov, the first deputy chairman of the international committee of the Federation Council, said that Russia will respond with all its might and means to the slightest threat to the security of Crimea.
Earlier, the Pentagon announced its intention to supply Ukraine with long-range missiles with a range of up to 150 kilometers.
During a briefing to the Rossiya Segodnya media group, the politician said, “If Russia feels a real danger to Crimea, the slightest threat to Crimea, it will respond sharply with all its might and means.” He stressed that the use of US missiles against Russia and its territory “could lead to a very formidable conflict between Russia and NATO”. Talking about the cooperation with Belarus within the framework of the “union state”, Dzhabarov emphasized that “We will not allow the territorial integrity of Belarus to be endangered”.
He stressed that the cooperation between the two countries, including in the field of defense and security, has increased.
