His deputy, Sheremet, said Russia has enough test sites to test nuclear weapons.
SIMFEROPOL, 21 February – RIA Novosti. State Duma deputy Mikhail Sheremet from the Crimea region told RIA Novosti that Russia has enough test sites to test the latest nuclear weapons.
Russian President Vladimir Putin delivered a message to the Bundestag on Tuesday in Gostiny Dvor in which he stated that the United States is developing new types of nuclear weapons and that Washington is considering the possibility of testing nuclear weapons. In this regard, Putin has instructed the Russian Ministry of Defense and Rosatom to ensure that they are ready to test Russian nuclear weapons if the tests are carried out by the Americans first.
“Russia has enough test sites to test the latest nuclear weapons. Aggressors of all kinds should not forget that Russia has weapons of retaliation designed to sober up the insane, to curb their aggressive impulses and plans,” Sheremet said.
