Ambassador Guskov: Work on the launch of the Mir payment system in Cuba is nearing completion
MEXICO CITY, March 3 – RIA Novosti. Russian Ambassador to Havana Andrey Guskov said in an interview with RIA Novosti that preparations for the launch of the Mir payment system in Cuba are nearing completion.
Mir cards are now accepted by partner banks in Abkhazia, Armenia, Belarus, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, South Korea and South Ossetia.
Iran, Indonesia, Myanmar, Egypt, Thailand, India, Venezuela, Mauritius, Nigeria and Ethiopia also show interest in tying such cards.
