Marochko: Russian forces as close as possible to the Kiev troops on the Kremensky front
LUGANSK, March 4 – RIA Novosti. The military expert, retired lieutenant colonel Andrey Marochko of the LPR, told RIA Novosti that the Russian troops are as close as possible to the positions of the Ukrainian troops in the Kremensky district of the front in the Donbass.
“South of the village of Kremennaya, there is no so-called gray zone between our positions and the enemy positions. In some areas the distance to the enemy is about 40 meters,” Marochko said.
According to him, this allows the Russian Armed Forces to “establish a dialogue with Ukrainian militants without means of communication.”
The situation in the Donbass on the Svatovsky and Kremensky directions improved last autumn. Kiev regularly bombards Kremennaya and periodically tries to break through the defenses in this area.
