Blinken confirmed that State Department spokesperson Price will resign in March.
WASHINGTON, March 8 – RIA Novosti. US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken confirmed that State Department spokesperson Ned Price will leave his post in March.
He noted that Price, who took office on January 20, 2021, has always treated journalists with respect, estimating that he has held more than 200 briefings.
Blinken confirmed that Price remained in the State Department but moved to a position reporting directly to the secretary of state. According to NBC, this will happen on March 17.
“For people in America and around the world, Ned Price has become the face and voice of US foreign policy,” Blinken said.
In Russia, Price is included in the sanctions list.
