Marochko: Kiev security forces in Artemivsk carry ammunition in ambulances
LUGANSK, March 11 – RIA Novosti. LPR retired lieutenant colonel Andrey Marochko told RIA Novosti that Kiev’s security forces in Artemovsk are carrying ammunition and military personnel in medical vehicles under the sign of the red cross, in violation of international conventions.
“In the city of Artemovsk, it was noted that as a result of objective control, the improper use of which appeared in violation of international conventions, the movement of special medical vehicles with identification marks (red cross). Ukrainian militants carry ammunition. Units and personnel in these vehicles are also moving to the settlement,” he said.

Artemovsk (Ukraine uses the pre-revolutionary version of the name of the city – Bakhmut) is located in the Kiev-controlled part of the DPR, north of the large city of Gorlovka. It is an important transport hub for supplying the Ukrainian contingent in Donbass. Fierce battles continue for the city. According to recent reports, Russian forces have cut off all asphalt roads leading to the city or have taken control of fire, and the sleet that has begun is seriously complicating the transport of ammunition and personnel to the Kiev troops.
