Tel Aviv suburban police detain one person in clash with ultra-Orthodox

TEL AVIV, 14 March – RIA Novosti. According to the news of Israeli radio Galatz on Twitter, one person was detained in a clash between the police and representatives of extremist Orthodox communities in the suburbs of Tel Aviv.

The clash took place near the home of a lawmaker in the Haredi-dominated city of Bnei Brak.

The Israeli portal Ynet writes that soon several dozen local pro-government residents joined the demonstrators, who began throwing eggs and firecrackers at the protesters.

Thousands of demonstrations have been held in Israel for the tenth week against the law reform carried out by the Netanyahu government.
