Marochko: Ukraine remotely mined about a quarter of the territory of Svatovo in the LPR
MOSCOW, March 15 – RIA Novosti. Almost a quarter of the territory of the city of Svatovo in the LPR was mined as a result of the bombardment of Ukraine with blocks for laying mines from afar, reported military expert, retired LPR Lieutenant Colonel Andrey Marochko.
Earlier on Wednesday, he said that on Wednesday night, Ukrainian security forces were remotely mining at Svatovo using about 60 German anti-tank mines using a multiple-launch rocket system (MLRS).
“This is almost a quarter of the city of Svatovo,” Marochko said on Channel One.
In the Donbass, the situation in the Svatov and Kremensk directions escalated last autumn. Ukrainian security forces regularly bomb Kremennaya and periodically try to break through the defenses in this area.

“This is the first time we’ve seen it.” What’s going on in the toughest part of the front?
