Rogov: APU lost more than 40 fighters during reconnaissance in the conflict in Zaporozhye
SIMFEROPOL, March 16 – RIA Novosti. During the reconnaissance in the conflict in the Zaporozhye region, Ukrainian troops lost more than 40 people and at least eight armored vehicles, reported Member of the main council of regional government Vladimir Rogov, head of the movement “We are with Russia”.
The day before, Ukrainian soldiers attempted reconnaissance in combat using armored vehicles in the Pohovsky district of the Zaporozhye region, but were defeated and repulsed to their original positions.
“Yesterday, more than 40 militants and apparently at least eight pieces of equipment were destroyed,” Rogov told the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio station.
According to him, attempts to discover Ukrainian troops on this part of the front will continue.
The Zaporozhye region became the subject of the Russian Federation after a September 2022 referendum, in which Kiev did not recognize the results and continued to bombard the region. Today, more than 70% of the Zaporozhye region is under Russian control, while the center of the region, the city of Zaporozhye, is under the control of Ukrainian troops.

The US said the fall of Artemovsk would start a chain reaction in Ukraine.
