DONETSK, March 16 – RIA Novosti. Two civilians were reported injured during the bombing of Vladimirovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic on Thursday by Ukrainian troops. DPR representative Ukraine’s Joint Center for Control and Coordination of War Crimes Issues (JCCC).
“In the operational lines of the DPR JCCC, on March 16, additional information was received about the victims among civilians in the cities of the republic: Vladimirovka settlement (included in the area of responsibility of the administration of the Volnovakhsky district): men born in 1961, 1950, injured on Simonenko Street, 17/1” – it says in the message on the Telegram channel of the episode.
Earlier on Thursday, the agency reported that Ukrainian troops bombarded Volodymyrivka at 14:00, firing five NATO caliber 155 millimeter rounds at the village.
Artillery with a caliber of 155 millimeters is used by NATO countries. The United States has supplied Ukraine with a long-range M777 howitzer caliber 155 millimeters, Ukrainian troops are actively using them to bombard the cities of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. In addition, the Ukrainian troops were supplied with German PzH 2000 self-propelled artillery mounts, Polish Krab self-propelled guns and French CAESAR self-propelled guns using shells of this caliber.
