Ambassador Tavares: Indonesia working on guarantees for Russia as it launches direct flights
MOSCOW, March 18 – RIA Novosti. Indonesia’s Ambassador to Moscow, Jose Antonio Morato Tavares, told RIA Novosti that Indonesia is working on the possibility of giving assurances that there is no risk of arrests when launching direct flights to Russian airlines.
According to the diplomat, the national transport ministry deals with Russian airlines flying to Indonesia. “Therefore, we are maintaining contacts with several Russian airlines. We are already seeing the desire to operate flights from Aeroflot and Nordwind to Indonesia, especially Bali,” he added.
