MOSCOW, March 19/ Radio Sputnik. Focus writes that NATO is holding exercises in which the conditional defense of Crimea is exercised, thereby sending a clear signal to Russian President Vladimir Putin that the alliance is ready to repel the offensive.
According to the publication, the legend of the exercise was a scenario similar to the events in the Crimea in 2014, the number of soldiers almost completely corresponded to the real potential of the Russian forces in the region.
Earlier, Sputnik radio had reported when NATO would submit updated plans for the defense of the alliance’s eastern border.
