MOSCOW, March 20 – RIA Novosti. Russian Su-35 fighter jets stopped two US Air Force B-52H strategic bombers from breaching the state border over the Baltic Sea, the National Defense Control Center reported.
“On March 20, radar facilities of the Western Military District air defense forces operating over the Baltic Sea detected air targets flying in the direction of the Russian state border. These are two B-52N strategic bombers of the US Air Force, ” the statement said.

Peskov spoke about the state of the drone, about his contacts with the United States
It was recorded that a Su-35 fighter jet was lifted into the air in order not to violate the state border, and then its crew occupied the designated mission area in the air.
“After the withdrawal of foreign military aircraft, Russian warplanes returned to the base airport,” the center said.
The ministry emphasized that the aircraft flew in strict accordance with international rules on the use of airspace and did not allow violations of the country’s borders.
