Death toll rises to 9 in Pakistan after earthquake in Afghanistan

Earlier, it was reported that a 6.5 magnitude earthquake occurred in Afghanistan, about 50 kilometers away from the town of Ishkashim in the mountainous Badakhshan province bordering Tajikistan’s Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region. Earlier, Dawn’s local edition reported that two people were killed and six injured in the earthquake.
