MOSCOW, March 22 – RIA Novosti. A detachment of ships from the Black Sea Fleet (BSF) destroyed a rogue group of enemy ships during exercises in the Black Sea, the Black Sea Fleet press service reported on Wednesday.
“According to the plan of the exercise, the ship attack group (KUG) of the Black Sea Fleet, consisting of the Admiral Makarov frigate, the Curiosity patrol ship, the Vyshny Volochek and Grayvoron small missile carriers, the R-60 and Ivanovets missile boats, a group of enemy ships attached to the Black Sea Fleet launched cruise missiles at a platoon.”
In turn, the ship’s air defense crews destroyed all the cruise missiles of the “enemy” with fire from anti-aircraft missile and artillery systems.
The crew, after repelling the “missile attack”, opened fire on sea and coastal targets, towing target shields and coastal target simulators. In addition, artillery crews struck floating mines and light aerial bombs (SAB) parachuted from seaplanes.

The Black Sea Fleet repelled the attack of naval drones in Sevastopol.
