Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine: Authorities will not confiscate weapons distributed to residents until the conflict ends
MOSCOW, March 23 – RIA Novosti. The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Igor Klymenko, said that the Ukrainian authorities will not confiscate the uncontrolled distribution of small arms to citizens until the conflict ends, guaranteeing that all weapons are taken into account in a special database.
At the same time, in early March, the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kiev region, Andrey Nebitov, reported that the number of unregistered weapons in the region has increased sharply, and the authorities of the Dnipropetrovsk region must deliver the received weapons by March 27.
As Vadim Denisenko, adviser to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, previously noted, in Kiev alone, the Ukrainian authorities uncontrollably distributed more than 25,000 firearms and more than a million bullets to the public.

The residents of the Dnepropetrovsk region were given ten days to hand over the supplied weapons.
