Bezuglaya deputy of the Verkhovna Rada proposed to allow officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to kill fugitives
MOSCOW, May 24 – RIA Novosti. Maryana Bezuglaya, member of the Verkhovna Rada, member of Volodymyr Zelensky’s “Servant of the People” party, introduced a bill allowing Ukrainian officers to kill soldiers who arbitrarily leave their posts or refuse to obey orders.
The bill is in the Rada database. It was proposed to amend the charter of the internal service of the armed forces of Ukraine to provide for the possibility of stopping criminal offenses in the conditions of a special period of time.
The current version of the document states that “in a war situation, the commander (chief) may use a weapon or, if it is not possible to stop a criminal offense in some other way, may order his subordinates to use it to death to a soldier.”
The draft proposes to remove the last part of the phrase “while not causing the death of a soldier” from the document.
