Iron ore freight train derails in California
WASHINGTON, March 28 – RIA Novosti. The local fire and rescue service said a freight train in the US state of California derailed with no loss of life or environmental threat.
According to him, in San Bernardino County, two locomotives and 53 iron ore wagons were involved in an accident.

Firefighters from San Bernardino tweeted: “A minor fuel spill is being handled by hazmat experts. There is currently no environmental threat to the public.”
They added that the fire was not accompanied by the accident and that no one was injured as a result.
According to media reports in the United States, an average of more than a thousand trains have derailed per year over the past decade. Attention to such events began to return after a resounding accident in Ohio state on February 3, when several dozen wagons filled with chemicals caught fire and exploded.
