Defense Minister Shoigu: Increased production of high-precision weapons for troops
MOSCOW, April 1 – RIA Novosti. Russian Army General Secretary Sergei Shoigu said at the headquarters of the joint group of Russian troops (forces) that the production of conventional and precision-guided weapons for the Russian joint group of troops has been increased.
The Russian Ministry of Defense noted that the head of the military department held a meeting at the unit headquarters on the issue of supplying ammunition to the troops and listened to reports on the current situation.

According to the agency, Shoigu noted that “the volume of supply of the most demanded ammunition has been determined and the necessary measures have been taken to increase it.”
The ministry added that at the working meeting, the issues of further increasing the ammunition supply of the Russian troops were discussed. Including increasing the efficiency of the logistics system to provide the troops with everything they need.
The Ministry of Defense noted that Shoigu previously checked the progress in the implementation of the state defense order at the defense industry enterprises in the Moscow, Chelyabinsk and Kirov regions. The heads of enterprises reported to the minister on the current results of the implementation of the state defense order, as well as on the projects implemented by enterprises to modernize and expand their production capacity to significantly increase the volume of products.
