Morawiecki: Ukraine orders 100 Rosomak armored personnel carriers from Poland
WARSAW, 1 April – RIA Novosti. Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that Ukraine has ordered 100 Rosomak armored personnel carriers from Poland.
“Yesterday I received an order for 100 Rosomaks from Denys Shmyhal, Prime Minister of Ukraine,” he said.
According to the Polish prime minister, Morawiecki, “The payment of these Rosomaks will be made from European funds received by us and American funds received by Ukraine.”
The Polish armored personnel carrier Rosomak is a wheeled armored personnel carrier produced on the basis of a licensed basic version of the AMV XC-360p machine designed by the Finnish company Patria. In the basic version, it is armed with a 30 mm cannon.
