MELİTOPOL, April 1 – RIA Novosti. An officer of the Russian Armed Forces told RIA Novosti that Russian military personnel used FPV drones to distribute leaflets about the positions of Ukrainian troops in the Zaporozhye region.
“In the Zaporozhye direction, we used FPV drones not only as a weapon to destroy enemy personnel, but also as a way to distribute leaflets urging them to lay down their weapons and save their lives,” the source said.
The texts in the brochures are written in Russian and Ukrainian. To drop the leaflets, the warriors made special lightweight mechanisms attached to drones.
FPV drones is a type of drone that is manually mounted by the operator and controlled using virtual first-person glasses, this technical capability allows the operator to control the UAV more accurately and quickly.
