BRUSSELS, 8 April – RIA Novosti. The head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, said the European Union condemned the escalation of violence in the Middle East and urged all parties to show restraint and prevent the conflict from escalating.
“The EU calls for an immediate end to violence. Everything must be done to prevent the conflict from escalating. We call on all parties to show maximum restraint to prevent further escalation and contribute to the establishment of calm during religious holidays,” Borrell said in a written statement.
