MOSCOW, April 17 – RIA Novosti. Speaking about the protest of Tokyo in connection with the military maneuvers of the Russian Federation, Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that all exercises were conducted in strict accordance with international law.
Commenting on Japan’s protest against Russia’s holding exercises near the Kuril Islands, he told reporters, “All exercises are conducted in strict accordance with international law.”
By the decision of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Russian President Putin, a sudden control of the Pacific Fleet forces, which was on full alert from April 14, was carried out.
