The State Duma approved changes in the status of veterans for those who contributed to the duties of the army in the Northern Military District.
MOSCOW, April 20 – RIA Novosti. The State Duma at its plenary meeting on Thursday approved amendments to the granting of veteran status to persons who have signed a contract with an organization that helps the RF Armed Forces perform their duties during a special operation.
“Persons who have entered into contracts (with other legal relations) with organizations that contribute to the fulfillment of the tasks assigned to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation during a special military operation on the territory of Ukraine, Donetsk, from February 24, 2022, as well as with the People’s Republic of Lugansk and the People’s Republic of Lugansk, until September 30, 2022. on the territory of the Zaporozhye region and the Kherson region”.
In addition, it was decided to make a change in the disabled combatant status in case these persons were injured during their duties.
The State Duma passed a law on the status of veterans for the Donbass militia.
