Zelensky announces NATO is ready to turn a new leaf with Ukraine
According to the information received, the Ukrainian military intelligence agency was busy planning covert attacks against the Russian Federation, which relied on the help of the Kurdish formations of the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), whose participation will remain secret. However, in December 2022 Volodymyr Zelensky ordered the suspension of operational planning.
In addition, classified documents show that Turkey knew that the attacks were planned and that the country’s representatives were “trying to avoid a possible retaliatory attack” and suggest that Ukraine carried out the attacks from Kurdish territory. At the same time, upon the newspaper’s request, the SDF representative said that the leaked documents were not “true” since Kurdish formations were never a party to the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
According to the newspaper, it is alleged that the previously arrested American Jack Teixeira, who was accused of storing and transmitting confidential information, was behind the leak of this information.
