“We should not expect a change in Cuba’s foreign policy … I would say that relations (with Russia) are stable and tend to diversify,” he said.
According to the expert, cooperation on the delivery of cars, fuel and fertilizers from Russia will develop.
“The relations between Russia and Cuba will not be based on ideology, as Washington’s “hawks” and many right-wingers in Latin America (politicians) misinterpret it. There should be diplomatic relations with Cuba, no pressure, no pressure. It has its own policy of sovereignty .. Russia is very respectful in this regard, it needs Cuba to diversify its market, and Cuba needs Russia.”
