Vucic met with Zelensky and Xavier in Chisinau
CHISINAU, 1 June – RIA Novosti. Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said he had a “short and nice” meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky on the sidelines of the European Political Community summit in Chisinau.
The Serbian leader wrote on his social media account “A short and beautiful meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky and Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel” and shared a photo from the meeting.
The Serbian President met with French President Emmanuel Macron earlier on Thursday and thanked him for his support in connection with the escalation in northern Kosovo.
Thousands of Serbs once again protested outside the municipalities of Zvecan and Leposavić in northern Kosovo, with organizers calling them peaceful protest. Clashes between local residents and security forces on Monday killed 52 among Serbs and at least 30 among the North Atlantic Alliance military. NATO KFOR unit previously surrounded the self-administration buildings with rows of barbed wire, followed by heavily equipped Kosovo Albanian police fighters in armored vehicles.

Vucic said he wanted to see the talks between Putin and Zelensky.
