Josep Borrell: Conflict in Ukraine will end quickly without military aid from the West to Kiev
MOSCOW, June 3 – RIA Novosti. The head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, said the conflict in Ukraine would quickly end without Western military support for Kiev. Reuters.
“We cannot stop military support to Kiev because we do not want a peace that would lead to the surrender of Ukraine,” the politician told the Asian security forum Shangri-La Dialogue.
Russia has repeatedly stated that it is ready for negotiations, but Kiev has banned negotiations at the legislative level. On Wednesday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov admitted that Moscow is already tired of proving its readiness for dialogue.
“There will be no Minsk-3,” said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky earlier. Press Secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, told RIA Novosti that such remarks “absolutely confirm” Kiev’s position as unwillingness to negotiate.

The United States described Zelensky as a condition for ending the conflict with Russia.
