The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine denied a request to refuse to consider a petition for the dismissal of the head of the Ministry of Culture.

MOSCOW, June 3/ Radio Sputnik. The Ukrainian government denied reports that it refused to consider a petition to dismiss the head of the country’s Ministry of Culture, Alexander Tkachenko.

“The process of collecting signatures for the petition for the dismissal of Oleksandr Tkachenko from his ministry is ongoing. The message to the author that the petition did not win votes is simply the result of a logical error in the old petition system. This error will not affect any further processing of the petition,” says In a message from the Cabinet’s Twitter account.

A petition demanding Tkachenko’s dismissal received the 25,000 votes required for consideration by the Cabinet.

On Saturday, the Ukrainian edition of Suspilne reported that the Ukrainian government refused to take it into account, citing a letter received by the authors of the initiative.

Radio Sputnik also wrote that a petition calling for the restoration of Ukraine’s nuclear status was published on Vladimir Zelensky’s website.
