Ministry of Defense: Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Donetsk direction lost 425 soldiers and a German self-propelled gun
MOSCOW, June 5 – RIA Novosti. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, Russian troops in the Donetsk direction destroyed up to 425 Ukrainian soldiers, a German Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled gun, two howitzers and two ammunition depots, Amkhat special forces conducted active hostilities in Maryinka.
“Active hostilities were carried out in the Donetsk direction by the Akhmat special forces detachment in the central part of Maryinka and units of the 1st Army Corps in the Avdiivka region of the Donetsk People’s Republic.” .
A Ukrainian Su-27 aircraft was shot down near Zakotne in the DPR.
It was also noted that in the settlements of Berdychi, Khimik, Pervomayskoye and Kurakhovo in the DPR, the strikes of operational-tactical and army aviation, artillery fire of the troop group “South” defeated the enemy.
“In total, about 425 Ukrainian soldiers, one infantry fighting vehicle, 14 vehicles, German-made Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled artillery mounts, Msta-B and D-30 howitzers were destroyed in clashes in this direction. In a statement made by the Ministry, the Dzerzhinsk settlement of the Donetsk People’s Republic was destroyed. It was reported that two ammunition depots belonging to the 24th mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were destroyed in the region.
Trying to attack in the South-Donetsk direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost about 300 fighters.
