DPR Deputy Head Pushilin said that he does not yet believe in a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine.
DONETSK, June 9 – RIA Novosti. Denis Pushilin, acting head of the DPR, said in an interview with RIA Novosti that at this stage he does not believe in a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine, there are no prerequisites for this, even taking into account the mediation attempts of third countries. The Kyiv regime must be defeated.
“Of course, if there is a more understandable position for us here regarding China, it can be understood why China’s ambitions need peace. Maybe African countries as well. As for the Vatican, I have a certain doubt here, what statements were made, both Ukraine and Ukraine. Given the regime, as well as how the dialogue with Russia on different platforms has been built, and at least an ambiguous position on what is going on here, or rather openly supporting the Ukrainian regime, the war crimes perpetrator we’re talking about now is therefore personally a peaceful one at this stage. “I don’t believe in a solution,” he said.
He explained his position with the experience gained in the negotiations within the framework of the Minsk agreements.
Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said earlier that Moscow advises all countries that initiate peace initiatives in Ukraine to encourage Kiev to negotiate. He also noted that as part of peace initiatives, countries can persuade the collective West to stop supplying weapons to the Ukrainian army. China, the Vatican and a group of African states have announced their intention to prepare a peace plan for a solution.
