Federation Council Member Kovitidi describes the US as the organizer and accomplice of the conflict in Ukraine

MOSCOW, May 10 – RIA Novosti. Federation Council Constitutional Committee member Olga Kovitidi told RIA Novosti that the United States has crossed all red lines and identified itself as criminal organizers and accomplices of the conflict in Ukraine.

“The United States has crossed all existing red lines and has publicly described itself as a criminal organizer and complicit in the war launched by the White House in Ukraine. Washington can no longer hide its active actions aimed at harming Russia,” he said.

The senator noted that the Americans were trying “at all costs” to lure European countries into this armed conflict. He recalled the words of White House spokesman John Kirby that Vladimir Zelensky would “get all the necessary support” not only from the United States, but also from his 50 partners.

He said that on the eve of the 2024 presidential election in the United States, they are trying to “divert Americans from real problems at all costs”, softening the domestic political agenda and transferring it to the external environment.

“According to the established American tradition, every presidential election “shakes the dog” and puts on a predictable political show,” the parliamentarian concluded.

John Kirby, strategic communications coordinator for the US National Security Council, previously in an interview with CNN, reported the expected casualties of Ukrainian forces in offensive operations and promised them all necessary support from the United States and its fifty allies.
