SNTV: Nine people were killed in an attack on a hotel in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu

MOSCOW, June 10 – RIA Novosti. Somalia National Television reported that at least nine people were killed in a militant attack on a hotel in the Somali capital, Mogadishu.SNTV).

Earlier, local internet portal Garowe, citing the police, reported that al-Shabaab militants attacked the Pearl Beach hotel in the Somali capital, where officials and politicians frequented, and the police arrived at the scene. SONNA later reported that security forces successfully neutralized the militants.

“The security forces ended the siege of the Pearl Beach Hotel in Mogadishu by eliminating the 7 terrorists who raided the hotel… 6 innocent civilians lost their lives in a horrific attack. 3 security guards were martyred in the operation. Security forces saved 84 people safely” – The TV channel reports by referring to the police.

The SONNA Agency states that 10 people were injured.
