KCNA: Kim Jong-un expressed hope for strong cooperation in letter to Xi Jinping
MOSCOW, September 24 – RIA Novosti. According to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), North Korean leader Kim Jong expressed his hope for improving cooperation with China in his response message to Chinese President Xi Jinping.
According to the agency, on September 21, Kim Jong-un sent a response message to Xi Jin Ping, expressing his gratitude to him for his warm congratulations on the 75th anniversary of the founding of North Korea.
“This (message – ed.) expressed confidence that the two parties and the two countries will closely promote solidarity (relations) and enhance cooperation,” the message said.
Earlier, North Korean radio “Voice of Korea” reported that Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory telegram to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, congratulating him on the 75th anniversary of the founding of North Korea. The President of the People’s Republic of China expressed his readiness to intensify strategic exchanges with the Korean side and improve bilateral relations in general.
