Ministry of Defense: Every day a Ukrainian MiG-29 and Su-25 is shot down in the skies over the DPR
MOSCOW, November 29 – RIA Novosti. Russian Armed Forces shot down a Ukrainian Su-25 attack aircraft, a MiG-29 fighter jet, 11 MLRS shells and 38 unmanned aerial vehicles in the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry press service reported on Wednesday.
The report states, “Air defense systems in the Novoolenovka settlement of the Donetsk People’s Republic shot down a Su-25 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force. 11 rockets from HIMARS and Uragan multiple launch rocket systems were captured.”
In another message, it was stated that the warplanes of the Russian Aerospace Forces in the Mezhevoye village area of the Donetsk People’s Republic shot down a MiG-29 aircraft belonging to the Ukrainian Air Force and intercepted the US-made HARM anti-radar missile. Also during the day, Russian air defense shot down 38 Ukrainian drones in the DPR, LPR, Kherson, Zaporozhye and Kharkov regions.
In total, since the beginning of the special operation, 544 Ukrainian military aircraft, 255 helicopters, 9,301 unmanned aerial vehicles, 442 anti-aircraft missile systems, 13,687 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,187 combat vehicles with multiple launch rocket systems, 7,205 field artillery and mortars, as well as 15,746 special military vehicles.
