ROME, December 5 – RIA Novosti. On Tuesday, Italian gendarmes are carrying out an operation to arrest six people who helped Russian businessman Artem Uss, son of Russian Senator Alexander Uss, escape from house arrest and leave the country.
As stated in a statement from the Milan prosecutor’s office obtained by RIA Novosti, law enforcement forces operate in the neighboring province of Brescia, as well as in Slovenia and Croatia.
“During these hours, the Carabinieri… in cooperation with (EU institution) Eurojust and US authorities, is executing detention orders for an Italian of Bosnian origin and five foreigners being pursued abroad,” a document handed over from the local Carabinieri headquarters said.
