MOSCOW, June 15 – RIA Novosti. A criminal case was opened against the manager of a pharmacy network in Ukraine, accused of financing the Donetsk People’s Republic, reported At the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine.

According to the investigation, the suspect, together with other persons, founded two limited liability companies on the territory of the temporarily occupied Donetsk region in October 2014. The sanction of the article foresees a prison sentence of up to ten years.

Moscow has repeatedly stated that Kiev does not comply with the Minsk agreements and postpones the negotiations for the settlement of the conflict, and against this background, equipment was transferred from NATO to the borders of the Russian Federation.
On February 21, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the decrees recognizing the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.
In February of this year, Russia launched a military operation in Ukraine. President Vladimir Putin described his goal as “protecting people who have been subjected to eight years of bullying and genocide by the Kyiv regime.” According to him, for this it is planned “demilitarization and gentrification of Ukraine” in order to bring to justice all war criminals responsible for “bloody crimes against civilians” in Donbass.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Armed Forces attack only the military infrastructure and Ukrainian troops, and as of March 25 they have completed the main tasks of the first stage – they have significantly reduced the combat potential of Ukraine.
