Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN Nebenzya: The USA wants to shift the responsibility of the crisis it provoked in Afghanistan to the world community
MOSCOW, 23 June/ Radio Sputnik. The USA and NATO are responsible for the crisis that broke out in Afghanistan, and attempts to blame the world community for this situation are hypocrisy. Statement by Vasily Nebenzya, Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN transmits DEA News.
He noted that in the six months since the situation in Afghanistan was discussed extensively at the UN, the socio-economic situation in the country “continues to deteriorate”. Nebenzya said the population was “literally brought to the brink of survival.”
Earlier, Sputnik radio reported that Vasily Nebenzya urged Western countries to freeze the financial assets of the Central Bank of Afghanistan located abroad.
