MOSCOW, July 5 – RIA Novosti. The Russian Ministry of Defense told reporters that the Commander of the Central Military District, Colonel General Alexander Lapin, presented state awards to soldiers who showed courage and heroism during a special military operation in Ukraine.
It was noted that the awards were received by the military personnel of the tank and motorized rifle units of the Central Military District. Among the awards of the Order of Courage are medals of the II degree “For Merit to the Fatherland”, “For Courage” and the Order of Zhukov.
“Comrade soldiers, sergeants and officers, my fellow combatants, today we honor the best sons of our Motherland – great Russia. I believe in you, I believe that together we will fulfill all the tasks assigned with honor. I wish you health. Lapin, return home victorious, alive and well.” .
