FCS vice-president Davydov announced that the EU and Ukraine are attempting to suspend Russia’s participation in the WCO.
MOSCOW, July 7 – RIA Novosti. Ruslan Davydov, First Deputy Head of the Federal Customs Service, told RIA Novosti that the European Union and Ukraine are trying to suspend Russia and Belarus’ participation in the World Customs Organization (WCO).
According to the interlocutor of the agency, as a result of Russia’s participation in the WCO Council on June 23-25, it was possible to adopt “a fairly balanced decision, in which all parties are urged not to destroy the customs infrastructure.”
Davydov said, “We call for this. All parties are urging not to hinder the movement of humanitarian and vital goods.”
