Venezuela MP Ortega Calls US Officials ‘Crime Gang’ After Bolton’s Confession

KARACAS, 14 July – RIA Novosti. Venezuelan lawmaker Saul Ortega told RIA Novosti that the confession of former White House national security adviser John Bolton that he participated in orchestrating coups in other countries shows that US governments are criminal cliques.

“This is a gang of criminals, as evidenced by Bolton’s confession and the confessions of other officials who have published books that they are responsible for plotting assassinations, anti-democratic coups, human rights violations, drug trafficking. In an interview with RIA Novosti, member of the National Assembly of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela.

John Bolton, former national security adviser (2018-2019) under Donald Trump (2017-2021), said in an interview with American CNN that he helped plan coups in other countries.

According to Ortega, thanks to Bolton’s confessions, it is possible not to wait 50 years for government documents proving the secrecy of crimes to be eliminated.

“There is a criminal record, and Bolton points out that he is part of this gang and that the various administrations of the United States are merely criminal gangs that are between hegemonic and extremist powers,” the MP said. Said.

Ortega believes Bolton’s confession may be enough argument for him, Trump and his administration to be docked. But, according to the MP, the US justice system is also involved, allowing state leaders to fearlessly participate in encroachments on the sovereignty of other countries.

“It is now important that multilateral organizations insist that Trump, his officials, and representatives of the current President Joe Biden’s government face the Hague War Crimes Tribunal,” the lawmaker said.
