VGA Vice-President Stremousov said that the Kherson region has strengthened its air defense system
SIMFEROPOL, 19 July – RIA Novosti. Kirill Stremousov, deputy head of the regional administration, told RIA Novosti that the Kherson region has strengthened its air defense system amid the increased rocket attacks of the Ukrainian army.

At the same time, Stremousov noted that the authorities had information from where the Ukrainian army opened fire on the Kherson region.
Ukrainian soldiers recently stepped up the shelling of a housing sector in the Kherson region. The most damaged city is Novaya Kakhovka, as a result of the attack of American HIMARS missiles, saltpeter warehouses exploded, residences and a market place were destroyed, a hospital was damaged, people were killed and injured. The final blow was struck at the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station.
During the special operation, the Russian army took control of the Kherson region and the Azov part of the Zaporozhye region. Administrations have been established in the regions, Russian TV channels and radio stations have started broadcasting, and commercial relations with Crimea are being re-established. The regions announced their plans to become part of Russia.
