DONETSK, August 11 – RIA Novosti. Police blocked the entrances of the brewery in Donetsk, where ammonia leaked as a result of the bombardment, RIA Novosti correspondent reported.
The regional defense center of the DPR reported that on the evening of August 10, Ukrainian troops set fire to a brewery in the Kalininsky district of Donetsk, causing a leak of ammonia. The DPR Ministry of Emergencies reported that 32 people were at the facility during the strike, at least one was killed and two others were injured. According to the agency, plastic containers and pallets caught fire in an area of 600 square meters on the plant’s grounds.
Rescuers are now putting out the fire. The police have closed the entrances to the industrial zone. There is a persistent smell of ammonia around the facility, and a military chemical reconnaissance device indicates its presence in the air right next to the facility.
